20 Ways you can help !
Alumni often say they want to do something to help the College.
There are many ways you can help! The following is a list of 20 ways alumni,
and friends can help State College of Florida. Your support can bring
tremendous benefit to your alma mater.
You can make a difference right now! Take a look at these ideas and see
how you can help!
1. Help recruit future SCF alumni and encourage a prospective student
to take campus tour.
2. Hire SCF graduates or offer a student an internship.
3. Mentor current students and recent alumni.
4. Participate in SCF Career Fairs.
5. Attend an SCF event
6. Host an event to benefit the SCF Foundation.
7. Share what you know about SCF with others.
8. Stay connected by informing SCF when you move, change jobs, get married
or start a family.
9. Volunteer your experience and skills; we can utilize the skills you
can share.
10. Visit the campus.
11. Wear SCF clothing and display something SCF at work.

13. Encourage alumni friends to keep records up to date.
14. Identify potential donors for scholarships, endowments, and naming
opportunities.
15. Write a letter of recommendation for a student applying to SCF.
16. Identify future leaders for the Foundation Board.

18. Remember SCF in your will and estate plan.
19. Contact a former professor and say thanks for his/her teaching and
mentoring.
20. Make an annual gift. Every gift, regardless of size, helps.
