2010 Annual Employee Campaign Exceeds Goal!
The SCF Foundation Annual Employee Campaign has gone “over the top” by
raising $72,801 or $2,801 more than its goal. SCF employees and retirees
gave more than ever before. Over 341 people contributed to this year’s
campaign with 95 people being a first time donor and 77 employees giving
at the Neel Society leadership level.
Dr. Mike Mears, Campaign Chair, credits his leadership “Dream Team” comprised
of Bradenton Campus Chair, Tracy Elliot, Venice Campus Chair, Dr. Felix
Rizk, LWR Campus Chair, David Auxier, Adjunct Chair, Kim Ghiselin, and
Retiree Chair Paulene Metzger.
Mears also credits his “campaign heroes” – fellow employees who took the
time to not only contribute but also to volunteer to be campaign committee
members. “Mears Heroes” are Kendra Barber, Anastasia Bojanowski, Beverly
Brown, Kristen Bryant, Michael Bush, Deborah Conaway, Stephanie Cook,
George Cubberly, Jane Dickerson, Roland Emerton, Matthew Ennis, Beth Gonyea,
Meg Hawkins, Meredith Headings, Dianne Hessler, Kevin Hollifield, Cindy
Hunter, Christie Juhasz, Wanda Kenney, Jeff Laborda, Jennifer Lahurd,
Timothy Langenback, Peg Lowery, Arlene Merriman, Diane McGrath, Dr. Joni
Pirnot, and Barry Puett. Esq., Michael Rogers, Ann Roggero, Elaine Smith,
Tracey-Ann Smith, Dr. Charles Turon, Karyn Washington, Anita Weaver, and
Judy Wishart.
