SCF Celebrates Successful Employee Campaign
(Bradenton, Fla., June 11, 2009) — The State College of Florida Foundation
recognized college employee donors at a campaign celebration held on June
10.
A total of 256 donors participated in the campaign, raising $64,002. The
campaign exceeded its goal of increasing the number of donors by 10 percent
with 41 employees becoming new donors. Other donors increased their giving
from past years.
“Even in this economy, we had 20 employees increase their giving. They
gave out of the goodness of their heart,” said Karyn Washington, chair
of the Employee Campaign.
Employee campaign committee members were Kendra Barber, assistant professor, nursing; Jenny Cronkhite, lab manager, nursing; Mary DiTaranto, adjunct coordinator; Roland Emerton, director of development, The SCF Foundation; Dianne Hessler, customer service, facilities planning and maintenance; Wanda Kenney, adviser, Career Resource Center; Timothy Langenback, director of business services and public safety; Peg Lowery, executive director, The SCF Foundation; Dr. Carol Probstfeld, vice president of business and administrative services; Michael Rogers, instructor, social and behavioral sciences; Ann Roggero, director of development, The SCF Foundation; Tracey Ann Smith, librarian and Judy Wishart, volunteer coordinator.
